Privacy terms
We implement principles of security and transparency when collecting and processing your personal data. We have compiled this document to explain what user data we collect and what we use it for. We will do our best to make our position clear and unambiguous.
We collect information in the following ways.
If you share your information with us or give us the right to collect it by using the websystems.ee website, permission is sought to use your information. The personal information collected includes:
– your first name; – your surname; – your telephone number; – your e-mail address; and – your company name.
When you use the service, the website uses cookies to collect technical data.
Cookies
We create and save user cookies in order to make the website more user-friendly. A cookie is a small text file which is sent and saved to the user’s computer by websites the user visits. The cookie is saved in the file catalogue of the user’s browser. If the user has visited a website before, the browser reads the cookie and forwards the respective information to the element that saved the cookie in the first place. What we use cookies for
Google Analytics – user data is saved for the purpose of collecting user statistics. In addition, user IPs are saved in Google Analytics data. Statistics provide us with an overview of user behaviour by highlighting the website’s shortcomings and allow us to make it more personal and user-friendly in the long term.
What we do with the information we collect
We use the information we collect for the purpose of providing the service. As such, we do not collect data that is not necessary for providing the service. User information is available, when needed, to:
- the user
- the body administering the website; and
- the client manager.
All associated partners share similar principles and keep and use the personal data of users according to the same principles. To protect users’ interests, parties handle personal data only under contract.
We use client data to facilitate communication between parties.
When collecting statistical data, we bear in mind the user’s interest in a more user-friendly service and a smoothly running website. Statistical data allow us to analyse the behavioural models of users when they use the web service, enabling us to see which content pages are visited most often and where users encounter shortcomings.
How and when we share data
User information is exclusively accessible to the user, the body administering the website and the client manager.
Web Systems OÜ shares user data with official authorities if there are reasonable grounds to suspect that the user is acting with malicious intent towards the company or other users.
In other cases, we share personal data with third parties only if we have the consent of the person whose data is being forwarded.
How long we share user information for
Data are actively used with the client’s interests in mind and for a period during which use of the data is necessary for providing the service. In consideration of the client’s interests, the period for storing data does not have a time limit. Data are deleted on the basis of a client’s written request submitted to info@websystems.ee. We implement the data deletion process in all relevant systems, including the back-up copies held by our partners.
Your rights as a user in regard to managing your data
As a client you have the right to access your personal data by submitting a respective request to info@websystems.ee. You cannot access personal data if this right is limited by legislation.
The user has the right to withdraw their consent for the processing of personal data at any time unless the processing of such data without the user’s consent is permitted by law. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
If you feel that your personal data is not being processed in accordance with contractual terms or legislation, you have the right to request that the company providing the service, Web Systems OÜ, terminate the processing of and access to your personal data and delete the data collected. Such a request can be submitted to the service provider at info@websystems.ee or by contacting the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate at www.aki.ee.
