Provent OÜ is one of Estonia’s leading providers of industrial dust collection and aspiration systems with over 20 years of experience. The company’s customers include metalworking industries, wood and furniture industries and educational institutions. Web Systems’ partnership with Provent began in 2020 and has grown over the years into a long-term IT partnership: we have built three iterations of the site, the initial version, V2 and V3, which went live in early 2026, provide daily maintenance and an SEO service that has seen a significant increase in results over the last three months. This means more clicks, more conversions and better visibility in search engines. Provent.ee is now a B2B e-shop with a catalogue of over 1 256 products, managed entirely independently by the customer.

Client and project background
Provent OÜ offers industrial companies a complete package of dust and aspiration solutions: industrial vacuum cleaners, dust and chip extractors for the wood industry, aspiration ducting, dampers and valves, surveys, design, installation, maintenance and rental. The company is ATEX-certified and has been recognised as a Successful Estonian Company 2020. Provent’s customers include large Estonian industrial companies whose production must not be allowed to stop.
The cooperation with Web Systems started around 2020 and has been steadily moving towards stronger solutions:
- Initial version (2020-2021): creation of the B2B e-commerce base, initial content structure and WooCommerce foundation.
- Version 2 (in the meantime): updating the design and user experience in line with the client’s growing product portfolio.
- Version 3 (early 2026): a major design overhaul, more modern visuals, better category display and B2B-specific UX details such as +KM prices, ATEX certificates and fast delivery.
Challenge: B2B specific e-shop and long-term development
- B2B decision process: industrial customers have a longer buying journey. The customer researches, compares, asks for a quote and only then buys. The magazine had to support both the newcomer who needs a consultation or wants to get in touch, and the returning customer who wants to buy directly from the catalogue.
- 1 256+ technical products: industrial vacuum cleaners, hoses, piping, hose and valves, each with its own technical parameters, dimensions and connection information. Flexible catalogue logic and user-friendly content management were required.
- Self-managed by the client: the Provent team needed to be able to update products, prices and campaigns directly from the WordPress admin interface, without developer intervention.
- Niche market SEO: keywords such as “industrial vacuum cleaners”, “aspiration system” and “wood industry aspiration” are B2B keywords with lower search volume but high purchase intent. The SEO strategy had to focus on the right customers, not the mass market.
- Continuous evolution: a partnership of more than six years means that the solution had to be architecturally open. New functionality and design iterations had to be able to be added without rebuilding the whole system.
- Trust building elements for B2B customers: the ATEX certificates, the Successful Estonian Company badge and quality elements are all part of building trust.

Solution: the WooCommerce platform, B2B specificity and long-term partnerships
We chose WordPress and WooCommerce as a basis, on top of which we built B2B-specific customisations for Provent. We have written more about how to build a successful e-commerce store based on a thorough mapping on the service page.
Three design iterations and continuous improvement
Unlike many projects, which are limited to a one-off construction, the Provent collaboration has moved in three clear phases. Each iteration grew out of the previous version: V1 created the core functionality of the e-store, V2 improved the design and user experience, and V3, completed in early 2026, brought a major design overhaul with B2B-specific UX details and a more modern visual. This approach is in line with Provent’s growth rhythm. A design refresh happens when a client has reached a new stage of development.
WooCommerce with B2B specificity
Standard WooCommerce is optimised for B2C shopping. Provent needed B2B-specific enhancements: prices +KM so that the B2B customer can clearly see the net price, display of technical parameters such as dimensions, power and ATEX certificates, “Ask for Quote” flow for larger orders in parallel with direct purchase, free shipping over 100€ as a condition and fast delivery with 3 days communication. Every detail supports the B2B decision-making process.

1 256+ product catalogues managed by the customer themselves
The entire product catalogue, from industrial vacuum cleaners to aspirators, is independently managed by the Provent team. The role of Web Systems was to build the content management logic so that adding a new product, changing prices or planning a campaign could be done without developer intervention. Categories are hierarchical, product attributes such as dimensions, colours and power are flexible, and the client team can add individual products as well as entire categories.
SEO service, 3 months of significant growth
In addition to technical development, we offer Provent an ongoing SEO service. Work has focused on niche market keywords such as “industrial vacuum cleaners”, “woodworking aspiration” and “ATEX vacuum cleaner”, technical SEO optimisation and strengthening internal links. Over the last three months, the results are clearly visible: more clicks, more conversions and increased visibility for those industrial B2B keywords that drive enquiries from discerning customers.
Ongoing maintenance and further development
The maintenance part covers all the technical background activities: monthly updates of WordPress kernel and plugins, backups, performance monitoring, speed checks, bug fixes and security monitoring. This is part of a long-term website maintenance service, which means the Provent team doesn’t have to worry about the technical background.

Result: over 6 years of partnership and measurable growth
Provent.ee is now an industry-focused B2B e-commerce site running at full capacity: three page iterations, 1 256+ products in the catalogue, constant SEO growth and a client team managing all content independently.
